Promotion Sunday at zpc
To Celebrate our Promotion Sunday, when the children move up to their next classroom, we provided a resource table for parents to browse Christian devotionals, Bibles and other great books. Dee Ann Little was a wonderful hostess at the book table and has agreed to come back this Sunday, the 22nd. All books at the book table can be found at Family Christian Bookstore in Carmel.
Miss Kristin, Bev Platt and myself took a few last quiet moments before the halls were bustling with children! We had a full house on Sunday which is Awesome!
Bev Platt is the interim Coordinator of Children's Ministry for 1st-3rd grade while Amy Crispin enjoys her twin boys born early this month.

Lauren's Last Day is Sunday
Dear ZPC Nursery Families and Volunteers,
As many of you already know, I will soon be beginning a new chapter of my life. At the end of this month, I will be moving to Bloomington to pursue a degree in elementary education at Indiana University. While I am very excited to begin the new adventure, I am very sad to be leaving the ZPC nursery.
Over the last two years, it has been such an amazing blessing to meet all your wonderful families. I have truly enjoyed seeing the kids grow up and our family of ZPC children grow. The kids at ZPC have put a smile on my face every Sunday. They all have a special place in my heart and always will. I will miss each and every one of them dearly as I transition to college life.
I’d like to sincerely thank all the volunteers. Your service to God’s little ones is so appreciated. I pray that you continue shining God’s light in the years to come. You are a truly wonderful group of individuals, and I am thankful for the relationships we have formed.
I can not put into words how special the ZPC nursery has been to me. I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to serve the Lord in such a wonderful and fun ministry. I will miss you all.
Yours Truly,
Lauren East

New Nursery Assistant to start in August

My name is Angie Hopkins. I live in Westfield with my husband, Larry and two daughters, Emma (16 years old) and Anna (12 years old). We live on seven acres and have horses, Shetland sheep, chickens, three dogs and five cats. As a family we enjoy camping and taking our Shetland sheep to sheep shows all around the country. In the past year, we have shown in New Jersey, Colorado, Wisconsin, Michigan, Kentucky and Missouri.
I have been working at ZPC since my daughter, Anna, was a year old. I was on staff in the Moms Day Out Program and the Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) Program. I have worked in all the rooms from infants to four years old and up. I am currently the MOPPETS Assistant at ZPC. As the assistant, I am the main liaison between parents and teachers. I also work at Barnes and Noble in Westfield and Midwest Estate Buyers in Zionsville.
I am a cradle Catholic and a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Westfield, where I have taught Sunday school for several years.
As ZPC's Nursery Assistant, I hope to develop a bond with parents so they are at ease in allowing us to care for their children in the nursery and making the children's experience wonderful. I want every family to get to know and be comfortable enough to come to me if they have any concerns so we can take care of it in a timely fashion.
Thanks Angie and welcome to our Nursery Team!!!
